PM Awas Yojana (Urban/Rural)
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is a flagship housing scheme launched by the Government of India in 2015. Its main aim is to provide affordable “pucca” (permanent) houses to poor and middle-income families.
Urban (PMAY-U): Focuses on people living in cities by providing housing subsidies, affordable flats, and loan interest benefits.
Rural (PMAY-G): Helps people in villages build or upgrade houses with financial assistance.
